Dane Smith lives in the upstate of South Carolina and enjoys creating impressions of the natural beauty of the lakes, woods and fields of the Carolinas.

Ridiculous sunset over Lake Keowee, Springtime. Acrylic on canvas, 30”H X 40”W

Wild Waterfall, fall colors. Acrylic on canvas

36” H X 24”W

As I hike, bike or jog through the hills of the upstate I look for the impressions that capture the beauty that God placed there.

I can’t paint as well as God can, but you can hang these canvases on your wall!

I use Acrylics on various sized-canvases. I like the texture of rich, thick colors and these works will have prominent texture from the brush or pallet knife.

I also do a fair amount of drawing and will be adding some prints as this site develops.
